Thai Tourist Visa
Thai tourist visa is granted for a short time of leisure travel and no business activities permitted.
- Fully completed visa application form for Thailand and required declaration
- Passport size photographs
- Valid national passport and one copy
- Original of valid visa if you are national of another country and one copy
- Your current bank statement and one copy
- Confirmation letter from your travel health insurance stating the coverage and one copy
- Reference letter from your employer or education establishment
- Proof of group travel/ hotel reservation in Thailand / airline ticket reservation for Thailand and one copy
- Visa fees for Thai visa
Thai Business Visa
Thai business visa is for practicing in short term commerce in Thailand.
- Valid passport (an additional copy) with at least 6 months validity remaining
- Fully completed Thai business visa application form
- Passport type photographs (no older than 6 months)
- Valid resident visa and one copy
- Current bank statement and one copy
- Proof of travel insurance coverage for trips and one copy
- Business references (letter from your employer, invitation from Thai company or organization)
- Proof of Thai hotel reservation and airline booking reservation for Thailand.
Other Types of Thai Visas
Thai Transit visa, is valid for 3 days or less, for transferring through port in Thailand to a third destination.
On-arrival visa for Thailand is issued at a port of entry. This is different from not needing a visa at all, as the visitor sholud still get the visa before they can in fact seek to pass through immigration.
Student visa for Thailand, which permits its holder to study at an institution of higher education in Thailand.
Thai temporary worker visa, is for people to work in an organisation in Thailand.
Spousal visa or partner visa, issued to the spouse, civil partner or de facto partner of a resident or Thai citizen.
Thai Marriage visa is issued for a extended time prior to civil partnership wedding based on a proven relationship with a citizen or resident of Thailand.
